Abstract

This multicultural kindergarten in Berlin teaches children at an early age that contact with “foreigners” is completely natural. It also encourages children to learn about foreign cultures through play and to view openness to other cultures as a basic requirement for coexistence. This photo shows German and Turkish children dressed up in headscarves drinking Turkish tea from a samovar.
