Abstract
In this campaign speech for the state election in Baden-Württemberg in 1956, SPD party chairman Erich Ollenhauer speaks out in favor of more equality in the education system. Ollenhauer stood as the SPD's candidate for chancellor in the 1953 and 1957 Bundestag elections, but was defeated by Adenauer in both elections and remained leader of the opposition in the Bundestag until his death in 1963.
