Abstract
On his two-day visit to Israel to commemorate 50 years of diplomatic relations between Germany and Israel, Federal President Joachim Gauck meets with his counterpart Reuven Rivlin and reassures his audience of Germany’s ongoing commitment to Israel. At another speech given at Hebrew University, he urges Israelis and Palestinians to find a path toward peaceful coexistence.
