Abstract

Under the protection of a large contingent of security forces, more than 14,000 protesters gathered in Rostock-Lichtenhagen on August 29, 1992, to demonstrate against the recent xenophobic riots and acts of violence against foreigners. Their slogan was “Stop the pogroms.”
