Abstract

This report by Deutsche Welle describes the work on the reconstruction of the Palace on Museum Island. The former residence of the Hohenzollern dynasty was badly damaged in the Second World War and was blown up in the GDR after the war. The rebuilt palace now houses the Humboldt Forum: a center for art, culture, science and education dedicated to dialogue between the cultures of the world.
