Abstract

This television clip from Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR) reports on the exhibition "Modern living and running the household on electricity," which was shown in April 1960 on the premises of Hamburger Elektrizitätswerke (HEW). The main aim of the exhibition was to inform West German housewives about the possibilities offered by the new electrical appliances to make household work easier.
