Abstract

From February 4-11, 1945, the Big Three came together for their second summit conference, which was held in Yalta (Crimea). The discussion focused on spheres of influence and the balance of power in a postwar European order. This photograph shows the participants in the summit (seated from left to right): Winston Churchill, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and Joseph Stalin.
