Abstract

This article from the public TV news magazine Tagesthemen reports on the OECD education study from 2017, which once again showed that the German education system performs poorly in international comparison, particularly in terms of equal opportunities. Significant deficits were identified in primary school education in particular, which need to be rectified at the state [Länder] level.
