In summer 1995 Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s Wrapped Reichstag temporarily covered the famous landmark for two weeks with silver-grey fireproof plastic material. It turned into a symbol for a new and unified Germany and attracted more than five million visitors from around the world. In this video Christo explains the idea behind the artwork.
